I love being around the trees and the campus which is so beautiful. So I really love being surrounded by nature. Especially in biology classes, we've taken advantage of studying trees. We don't just study them from a PowerPoint slide. We go outside and we look at the leaves and we're fully immersed in those types of things. And we have that opportunity because we are where we are in a relatively suburban area that also gives us the proximity to the city that allows for things like internship opportunities, fun nights on the weekends, and fun trips. I think that Ursinus is in such a good location. It's nice to just have a whole bunch of different things around whether that be restaurants, places to visit, things to see, it's really cool that we are in such a good location to do that... When everything is so close to us and on campus and we have those resources right when we need them. The location of Ursinus being in the suburbs of Philly allows us to get many different job opportunities. I had a job opportunity this summer working for Pfizer and Pfizer's facility is located just outside of Collegeville. There are many other relationships that Ursinus has with the community of the local businesses. So there's a lot of job opportunities. I get treated like I'm home in this community. Being on campus and you go down to the Trappe Area, and then pretty much all over Collegeville when you get into the Providence Town Center, even in Phoenixville, you get treated like your home. With that community feel comes the ability to get off-campus. So going to the Providence Town Center, going to Trappe Tavern going into Phoenixville, they're all really good opportunities for our students to get off campus and, um, just go about your day. Whether you come from the city, whether you come from a small town, you get kind of the best of both worlds where if you miss that city life, you're right around the corner from it, but if you are from the small-town life, you get that in Collegeville and you get that with your peers here on campus as well as we kind of create our own community.
