There are so many different clubs that Ursinus, anything from like the Video Games Club to Anime Club, Chemistry Club, and stuff that can actually like really help towards learning. You can even be a part of stuff like helping with tutoring on campus, which is technically an extracurricular club. It's just amazing to be able to be a part of something that leads to something bigger on campus. When I first came to Ursinus, the soccer team was the first team that I got exposed to. So my very first network and group of friends were from the soccer team and we spent every single day together, it really set the tone of community and a sense of teamwork. You meet a whole bunch of different people from different areas. Different backgrounds. That really helps you develop yourself as a person. Meeting new people, seeing what they have, what their different experiences are, so it really embraces yourself in different cultures. I would say Ursinus is a space for every type of student and their interests. When I tell people that I'm an Art and Environmental Studies, double major, they're like, "Oh, like those aren't very related." But here, every single opportunity I've had has, in a way intertwined both of those things. So I've, I've been really fortunate in that regard that there are opportunities, there's flexibility for the things that you like, and if they are seemingly unrelated, that is not how professors think about it on campus here. They want to meet you where you're at and help you put both of those things together.
