There are many different job opportunities for students here on the Ursinus campus. Specifically, for interests that you are actually interested in going into for a career. So you can look from anything from doing media, the tech. You can break down specifically for doing journalism writing. You can work for the paper. You can work doing photography. And all these different aspects kind of contribute to that life goal of working in the field that you want to work towards. There was several different avenues that you can take to kind of get involved in school that don't necessarily have to do it in a one particular thing. It's like really multifaceted. From the start, they present you with like an opportunity to go and do community service with a group called "Bonner." I know of a lot of volunteer opportunities outside of Bonner as well like through the UCARE Office, which is really fun. Also, just various, like administrative positions, like you learn your way around the office by like working here. I'm lucky enough to have been involved with the Berman Museum. It's one of only two art museums that are accredited on a college campus in the whole state of Pennsylvania. So that's, I mean, that's really unique undergrad experience. It's an institution with a really great reputation when they have that type of accreditation. And that also translates to related work, not just other museums, but also to say if you were interested in botanical gardens, they also have different accreditations for their collections. And so that kind of translates across different fields. Without Ursinus, I probably would not have had the opportunity to work at an accredited museum, especially an art museum, so I've been really lucky in that regard. When I was applying to Ursinus, one thing that really was important to me was my ability to work alongside the football team. I have a big passion in videography and photography, and I really wanted to do that for a football team at the collegiate level. It wasn't something that necessarily was directly given to me, but it was something that I kind of sought out and looked for. And now I continually work for the football team doing digital media and photography for them. If you're a person that is very driven and you want a lot of meaningful opportunities Ursinus is definitely the place for you to get connected.
